Speechless

I am just speechless.  This last week has been just amazing, tiring, and full of excitement.  The same girl that was taken from my house nine months ago was returned to my families care.  It has just been so awesome.  People are running around in circles and they have no idea what they want to do.  This thing is not over yet as the courts have a hearing today to determine how much longer she will stay with us.  This is just god working throughout the people involved in this case.

A Different Perspective

Christmas is coming up on us extremely fast.  The hustle and bustle in the malls, and the running around trying to get everything done.  The lights and decorations of singing Santa clauses in your front yards.  Most people including me take a deep breath when Christmas is over because it takes a large load off of you.  As we approach it in two weeks try not to worry about it so much.  Do not worry about if you are going to get everything done in time.  Focus on Jesus being born.  He came on this world so that he could die on the cross to save our sins.  Jesus came into the world in some nasty, smelly, and uncomfortable conditions, and he left the world in painful and nasty conditions.  Just think of how much he had to love us to do all of that for us.  Just sit back and enjoy the birth of our Jesus, because that's is how we can have eternal life.

It is Just that Span of Time.

  Do you not love the span of time , in school, in between Thanksgiving and Christmas.  NOT.  That span of time is the worse time of the year that you are ever expected to do school.  Thanksgiving break is around a week long.  Then you come back to school in a slump because you just had a whole week off from school.  After you get into the mood of school again you figure out that Christmas break is just three weeks away.  Immediately after you just go into ultra antsy and panic mode.  What am I going to get this person, will I finish all of my shopping, then the last question is will I get through school first?  That span of time is the longest time of the year when you want it to be the fastest.  

Starlight

    Starlight is a annual event that my church puts together.  It is when you have a fancy dinner at a fancy restaurant and then you go down the shore for the weekend.  It is a whole lot of fun.  This is my first time going, but I am sure it will be a blast.

Last Day

     It is my last day of school of school and seventh grade.  I am so excited.  I will enjoy my summer along with many other goals to pull off this week.  Here are three of them.

1. To grow in a closer relationship with Jesus Christ.
2. To practice my trumpet at least fifty times.
3. To Run seven miles at a time.

Five Reasons I can't wait until tomorrow.

1. One day closer until my summer brake.
2. One more step with my relationship with my Lord Jesus Christ.
3. One second closer to my next soccer season.
4. One night closer to my sister coming home to live with me.
5. Not having to go to my science class.

I know I said it before but I am going to say it again. DONE!!!

I am almost I mean so close to being done.  There are only five more days until I am laying out in the sun and enjoying  my summer brake.  Yes, the more I get excited the faster I keep typing and I am about to slip off of my seat.  7th grade is in the dumpster.  8th grade is coming up fast.

Youth Group

     Every Wednesday evening I have a youth group that I go to.  It is one of the highlights of my week.  It gives me a little pick me up to take me through the rest of the week.  At first we play games together and have a lot of fun.  Than we have worship team which I lead.  Then after that we have a great lesson about God's word.  Youth Group is the best part of my whole week where we can connect with friends and dive into God's word.

St. Louis Cardinals

    The Cardinals are my favorite all time baseball team.  My dad grew up near there and it has carried on into my generation.  The Cardinals have the best record in all of the MLB.  Their team is very young with very few veterans. Their AAA system is one of the strongest that I have ever heard.  The AAA team is practically as good as an MLB team.  3 out of 5 of the Cardinals starting pitchers are rookies that just came out of AAA.  Their team is absolutely amazing.  It is a good time to have the St. Louis Cardinals as your favorite baseball team.

Rain

     Over the last few days we have had the warmest days that my part of the country has had.  I ran a 5k Saturday morning and I was dripping sweat by 8:30 in the morning.  We went to the zoo and had a picnic.  The warm weather was absolutely glorious.  The rule of thumb is that if you go up you must come down.  So obviously the temperature and good weather go up it must come down in cold and RAIN.  Rain gives people headaches and makes them grumpy.  It is muggy and it is not enjoyable.  Like I said before.  If you go down you must come up.

Two Year Old Children

        The name, Terrible Two's is a perfect name for two year old children.  If your are a parent of young children or a sibling to a young child that is around the age of two years old then you would know that they can be a challenge.  Well I love and adore my two year old brother to the high heavens, but sometimes I get sick of his disobedience and his screaming.  It gets very annoying.  While I writing this wright now he still screaming his head off.  The greatest thing about it is that he will not be like that for much longer because believe or not I did the same exact thing.  So if you are going through this wright know, stick through it because it will get a lot better.

Memorial Day

     Memorial Day weekend is on the top of our list of highlights of each year.  We look forward most to seeing our cousins that live in Ohio, but after that on Memorial Day weekend we go to the largest flea market in all of Ohio and we sell flowers.  My grandma, grandpa, aunt, uncle, and another aunt, and uncle and six cousins.  The weekend is packed we enjoy playing family kickball and many other numerous sports. Memorial Day weekend is a great holiday to get together with family that you do not see very often.

Weak

   Life is tiring.  If you have ever had a normal life you would then know that there are parts in life when your legs feel like they are about to buckle out and your body will fall to the ground.  In my early years of childhood I have had many of those up and down roller coaster rides that go up and down and take there loops.  For when these things happen you feel weak and helpless.  When I feel like my legs will buckle and my body will fall to the ground I read my Bible.  This is the greatest book of all time and it will definitely give you a little pick me up for the day.  This following verse clearly tells us that we can do anything that Christ helps me do.

Philippians 4:13

I can do all things through Christ who gives me strength.

Please Pray

   At the beginning of march my littlest sister, Brooklynn was taken away from me and my family.  It was heartbreaking.  Tears were shed and cries were let out.  DYFS was making mistakes left and right and we were hopeless.  She kept at a hospital until another foster home would accept her.  The state said we could not take care of her.  People then went to the judge to tell them what DYFS was doing.  The judge told DYFS to take Brooklynn to an aunt and uncle.  We were happy that we can see her, but we are discouraged that she is not sleeping in the little purple room down the hall.  We miss her as much as she misses us.
    This coming Wednesday is one of two court dates for her.  They are going to the judge and trying to influence him to send Brook back to us.  My mom is scheduled to testify.  We have almost our whole church praying for us this day.  Please be another of these numerous people that are praying for Brooklynn to come back to the Schroll family.

Creation

    Over the last few weeks we have fostered a few caterpillars that soon became beautiful Painted Lady Butterflies.  This was cool to see how uniquely God created these creatures and how they transformed into totally different creatures.  My little siblings along with I were not the only ones who care about them either.
"You shall not pollute the land in which you live.... You shall not defile the land in which you live, in which I also dwell; for I the LORD dwell among the Israelites." (Numbers 35:33-34)
"The Lord God took the man and put him in the Garden of Eden to work it and take care of it." (Genesis 2:15)
"The land itself must observe a sabbath to the Lord. For six years sow your fields, and for six years prune your vineyards and garner their crops. But in the seventh year the land is to have a sabbath of rest, a sabbath to the Lord.... The land is to have a year of rest." (Leviticus 25:2-5; cf. Exodus 23:10-11)
     God says to take care of his creation.  The butterflies are his creation and it is his command that we should take care of it.  We let them go now and the will enjoy the rest of there lives in freedom.  God's creation is valuable and we need to take of it.

My Passion

Music is a large part of my life and some of the members in my family.  Music is my passion.  Recently I have  picked up different ways to show and use my music ability for God.  My first thing that I do is I practice, practice, practice.  These mini practice sessions that I have daily whether I sing and play Piano with my mom or if I play with my sister who plays guitar. I also play my trumpet each sunday morning for my church Orchestra.  Lastly, my most recent and my favorite of the two is that I am my Praise Team leader for my youth group which includes picking the praise songs each week and picking the keys for each song.  Like I said before, music is my passion, and when I miss a week of Praise Team or Orchestra I feel like I missed out and I look forward to serving the lord next week.

Done

     Bright sunny mornings that carry on throughout the day, sisters in college that come home for the summer, end of the year school review, summer vacation plans, and if you are reading this carefully, what does it mean..........................

      DONE!!!!!.  I am almost done my seventh grade year in school.  I feel as this year went so very fast, but when comes down to the wire you get a little antsy.  That is just what I am right now, antsy. As I am typing this, my fingers are jumping around the keys thinking that the faster I get done this the faster that I would be done the day, and the faster I got done the day is the faster I am DONE!!!!!!!!!!!.

Oh My Goodness

     My dad tries to get involved with everybody which is amazing he even gets evolved with my three year old sister.  Sometimes it goes too far.  He played princess candy land with her and a few other people in my family.  The funniest part about this is he won.  From now on I will call him the PRINCESS of Candy Land.

Birthday

     February 5th  was my twelfth birthday.  It was a pretty good birthday.  The only exception was that I was sick and that was not that much fun.  I got an ESV study Bible, Tolkien Trivia, Surfer Shirt, and money$:).
