Camden Childrens Benefit Concert

          The Camden children benefit fund is a charity that helps kids in Camden, NJ survive in the cold winter months with Christmas presents and socks and coats.  The other night we had a concert and raised over three thousand dollars for these poor kids in Camden.  You can still donate by going to their website and sending checks in to CCB or Camden Children Benefit.  Your donations can go far and can make these kids in Camden have something to smile about this Christmas morning.

School

School is boring at times and fun at others.  It is only one-fourth the way in but I am already getting tired of it.  Math and science are fun but the reading and grammar not so much.  I have a wonderful teacher in seventh grade because it is my mother.  I am ready to skip winter and make it summer once again.

Jill Williamson

     Jill Williamson is a author that has written many books.  She threw a give away scavenger hunt on her blog and if you got the riddles and then got your main picked then you got a one hundred dollar gift card to barns and noble.   The ten runners up got spy kits.  Surprisingly I got first place.  My sister also got second.  This is pretty cool. 

Serve-A-Thon

The serve a thon is a day were you go out in the community in your community along with your school and a serve.  Their are things like mulching, cookie baking, planting flowers, entertaining the elderly.  I chose to entertain the elderly and play lots of Bingo.  These little things like playing bingo can go a long way. 

Spread the word

     Last Wednesday I was at youth group my youth pastor spoke about spreading the word and being messengers and ambassadors and Harold to people around us.  He said that we should be like those for christ.  We should share the word and tell everybody about Jesus.  This was really touching and moving to me because I have so many people in my circle of friends.  Our family does foster care and their is a great opportunity to share the word with these kids that could have never heard the word before.  As the government has ambassadors God has us to be his ambassadors and tell other people about the great news of Jesus Christ.  

Camp

The last two days I went to a camp called Ockanickon.    We went canoeing and we also did archery.  The second day we did challenge course and high ropes.  Thing like the cat walk, the tremor bridge, the multi vine, and  of course we did the rock wall.  It was so much fun.  We learned to build people up with our cheering our teammates on.  It was so much fun and look forward to doing it again next year.
